Goddness Chandeshwori's procession is limited to the distance between Bhaktapur Durbar Square (Royal Palace) and Dattatraya (Old Layaku Durbar). The Jatra of Goddness Chandeshwori is a well-known Banepa Jatra. The Goddness Chandeshwori Jatra in Banepa will not begin until the Bhaktapur Goddness Chandeshwori's flowers and offerings have started.

After destroying the Monster (Chandasur Demon), the Gods with Processions went to heaven. Chandeshwori Jatra(चण्डेश्वरी जात्रा)) commemorates this day. This Jatra is unique in that it takes place on the day before Baisakh Shukla Purnima and on Purnima itself. Goddness Chandeshwori is known as Chasu Dyo in Newar Community , and Chasu Punhi is the day on which Chasudyo Jatra is performed.
