Bhaktapur After destroying the Monster (Chandasur Demon), the Gods with Processions went to heaven. Chandeshwori Jatra(चण्डेश्वरी जात्रा)) commemorates this day. This Jatra is unique in that it takes place on the day before Baisakh Shukla Purnima and on Purnima itself. Goddness Chandeshwori is known as Chasu Dyo in Newar Community , and Chasu Punhi is the day on which Chasudyo Jatra is performed.
